DoorHunter
Privacy information
How DoorHunter uses account information, browser storage, analytics, payment services, and contact submissions.
Updated October 6, 2026. This notice covers the DoorHunter website and Chrome extension.
Account and saved research
When you sign in with Google, DoorHunter uses identity information, including your email and profile details, to authenticate your account. Supabase provides authentication and storage for account-linked research, saved properties, analysis assumptions, and membership records. The information you choose to save is used to provide those features.
Cookies and device storage
The website uses authentication cookies to maintain your signed-in session. Browser storage can retain calculator and renovation drafts and interface preferences. Standalone rehab drafts are saved on the device separately from saved property budgets. The extension uses Chrome storage for its session and local state. Clearing cookies or storage can sign you out or remove locally stored drafts.
Payments and email preferences
Stripe processes subscription checkout and billing. DoorHunter uses billing identifiers and subscription status to manage access; payment details entered in Stripe checkout are handled by Stripe. Optional marketing email preferences are recorded when you choose them and can be changed in account settings.
Usage analytics and operational services
The website uses Umami for page and feature usage analytics. The analytics filter removes query strings and calculator share payloads from tracked URLs and masks property-detail identifiers. Hosting and service providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service. Map services receive requests when a map is loaded. Third-party services have their own privacy notices.
Contact submissions
Messages can include your chosen reply email, an optional screenshot, the page path, basic browser and viewport context, and an account or property reference when relevant. A hashed network identifier and, when signed in, an account identifier support abuse prevention. Screenshots are stored with the submission. Remove sensitive information before attaching an image.
Public calculation links
A shared calculator link contains the scenario’s inputs. Anyone with the link can view that scenario; search exclusion is not an access-control feature. Share only assumptions you intend to disclose. Calculator pages use a restrictive referrer policy to reduce disclosure of those links to other sites.
Access, correction, and deletion requests
You can edit saved research and email preferences in your account. For account information, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions, use Contact DoorHunter. Include a reply email and the nature of your request. Account ownership may need verification before account-linked information can be changed or disclosed.
Account information, submissions, and operational records support the features and business operations described above. This notice does not set a fixed automatic deletion period. Contact us for details about the records relevant to your request.
